Job Description
Senior care professionals regularly supervise and monitor carers, care assistants, and home carers. They also look after the personal needs and comforts of the elderly and infirm who require care and support (‘service users’) in residential care facilities, day care facilities, or their own homes.
What are the eligibility requirements?
✓ Nursing Degree / Nursing Diploma (at least 3 years).
✓ Minimum 1 year of clinical work experience in a hospital.
✓ Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
✓ IELTS for UKVI (Minimum band score 5) or NARIC Certificate.
✓ Valid Passport.
✓ Police Report.

Complete IELTS
To work as a Senior Care Worker in the United Kingdom, you must have a minimum level of English that is set by the UK Home Office. You have two choices:
• IELTS for UKVI.
• NARIC Certificate.
You can do either one of the two mentioned above.
If you simply have diploma qualifications, you will need to take IELTS with a minimum score of 5. Having a degreelevel academic qualification taught in English—if you studied abroad, you’ll need to apply to Ecctis (previously UK NARIC) for certification that your qualification is equivalent to a UK bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD.
